T...Thank you very much for your beautiful comments. This cake was one of the most difficult ones I have ever made and it definitely was the most time-consuming one. I had many enemies along the way such as humidity, which prevented some of the lacework drying properly and even the slightest breath of fresh air was ripping the fine string work instantly. However, I still do believe that it was all well and trully worth it. That's why your comments mean a lot to me. Thank you.Hana Rawlingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04145357166227732082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8390487135713224858.post-15951581287436655782010-02-06T23:52:43.942+01:002010-02-06T23:52:43.942+01:00I've wanted to comment on this exquisite cake ...I've wanted to comment on this exquisite cake for a long time, but words are inadequate. I did write about it on Lawn Tea today, when I linked your blog, but nothing I say could do it justice. It's difficult to believe it's real, and I have this silly image of your doing that double-string layer upside down, then rightside up. <br /><br />I can't imagine how you made them so true and even, and how do they STAY there?RachelDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11204947567574886675noreply@blogger.com
